A custom domain turns your DVC card from dvc.co.in/u/yourname to yourname.com. It's a small change that makes a big impression.

You'll need:
• A domain name (buy one from GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.)
• Access to your domain's DNS settings
• A DVC Pro or Business plan

Step-by-step:

1. Go to Settings → Custom Domain in your DVC dashboard
2. Enter your domain (e.g., alexjohnson.design)
3. Click 'Get DNS Instructions'
4. Log into your domain registrar
5. Add the CNAME record we give you
6. Click 'Verify' in DVC — this takes 5-30 minutes
7. Done — your card is live at your custom domain

Troubleshooting tips:
• If verification fails, wait 15 minutes and try again (DNS propagation)
• Make sure you copied the CNAME value exactly
• Check with your registrar if you're unsure how to add DNS records
